.kyoto Domain Name Registration

For those who want to apply for or register .kyoto domain name, but don’t know how to or those who have a trademark name but don’t know how to use it, this announcement is for you.

The Kyoto Information Service Industry Association has scheduled a ".kyoto Domain Name Registration Meeting". On the day of the event, members will assist you in the application procedures for Sunrise II and Landrush.

1.Sunrise II

You can apply for a domain name that exactly matches your trademark name. If that name is a mixture of kanji and kana, you can convert it to romaji and apply for the domain name.

Items to bring

• Please bring the trademark registration certificate or a copy of the trademark registration for the name for which you are applying. In the case of a photocopy, please also provide proof that you are the rightful owner or user of the trademark.
• Proof that the registrant's address is in Kyoto.

How to apply

Please send us an e-mail with the following information by November 25th (Wed.), 2015.

   Please indicate your preferred group from 1st to 3rd.

2.Landrush

Applications possible for a domain name of your choice regardless of the trademark.

Items to bring

Proof that the registrant's address is in Kyoto.

4.Payment

Application and registration of domain names will be handled by Kagoya Japan. Payment for application and registration can be made by credit card. If you do not use a credit card, please make a separate contract with Kagoya Japan and the application/registration fee will be charged by Kagoya Japan. Please let us know that if you will not use a credit card when you apply for this registration meeting. We will send you the contract attached by e-mail. Please fill out the necessary information and bring the contract with you on the day of the meeting.
